Dear friend,
How fare you in lands faraway?
Has it been so long?I cant seem to want to forget
It takes a lonely night,a sad song and some pain
to remember of days you were always here
when you gave me love without asking
wanting nothing in return but to run freely in a field
or a show of courage despite small stature
when they hurt the one you love the most
and waited for her return in the rain
yet they abandoned you I fear
for you bore too much pain before you came here
and it made you hurt them
yet I stood by your side for I saw the love you had
and carried you in my arms when you couldnt walk
to that field you always like to go to
sat with you on the grass and watched the cars pass by
and wondered why the world hasnt stop that day
for a love that was soon to leave

I fell to my knees to hold your head
gave you a hug in relief,washed your face
