It is said that Atlas was punished by Zeus to hold the sky away from the earth for an eternity for his defeat in a War.To keep both the sky and earth from embracing each other ever again.
But what is might when it is used to oppress the weak?What is strength if one cannot save their loved ones?
Train the body not so that mirror images fit,conform to popular perception of strength.
Train,so that when a loved ones footsteps falter;you can carry them on your shoulders a million and more steps.
Train,so that when people with evil intentions try and hurt them;you may call upon your strength and protect them with your arms.
No other motivation is needed.

I want to know everything that makes you happy
the smallest things in life that make you smile

See the stars that shine thru your eyes

the nebulaic glow encapsulated within you
when we share a moment of wonder
as you bloom like a rose by the suns grace

unfurling the joy you feel inside
I can only stare as did the first man to a starlit heaven

Words escape me on  fleeting ships of thoughts

Amazement filled,a growing warmth inside

her every spoken word etched in my mind

the love for a soul wading thru the righteous path

her thoughts resonate like sunshine on the waves of a clear stream

Yet I hold back,still in a twilight of doubt

not knowing whether daylight will come

and if the pinnacle of  a day will end with a kiss

indulge my pleasure with her sensual rosebud lips

She will be in my arms 

I will be in hers

a union of melded hearts

for Godsake kiss her already fool!

Everyday is a wonder

I stay up at night wondering
devising the words to spell out
what I see in your eyes
how those hazel brown pearls you see thru
smile as you smile
sparkle like the morning dew on a rose
brimming with honesty it glides
to your cherry button nose
across into bubbles of  peach cheeks
and luscious strawberry icing lips
parting for a  burst of sunlight from a smile
just like your crowning glory
flowing into umber swirls
coveting those nibble worthy ear lobes
cupping the immaculate teardrop face
leaving me in dire need
to taste that honey laden smile
and share the warmth I feel
Inside just gazing at you.

Forever here

Rain drops peel away this soul
shadows of memories flicker in mind
A candle light snuffed
The afterglow fades
where is he?
what had I felt but love
so much has been taken
yet the love inside is still there to take
yet can't be given
lightning rips thru the clouds of thought
the dearest of souls has been lost
never to be awaken

I drink from your chalice of smiles
bathe in your river of laughters
savor every breath that leaves you
match every heartbeat I feel with mine
swim in the minutiae seconds we spent
but such pleasures last like the first snowflakes
only woes rule to the end of the day
all this pieces of thoughts
swirling into a whirlpool
I try to part succulent bits of memories
but heavy tides sweep me away
and breaks on hedged rocks
into a million pieces
lost is the day to the night
I sit and ponder a missing piece
the game I've risen late to
and the days I'd spend missing you
